Tácticas

Imperial Camel Riders are one of the most versatile and powerful cavalry units in the game due to their variety of uses on the battlefield. Besides having an attack bonus against other mounted units, they have high hit points, fast speed, and are cheaper than Knights. They have no base armor and subpar attack stat, however, which are huge drawbacks. Overall, the Imperial Camel Rider functions similarly to its predecessors, being very strong against enemy cavalry but fairing less well against foot units. Thanks to the Hindustanis' civilization and team bonuses, granting increased attack speed and damage against buildings, respectively, Imperial Camel Riders become fairly effective at putting pressure on enemy towns. This can help to mitigate the lack of Cavaliers and Paladins to a certain degree, though Imperial Camel Riders remain less effective against those units in most respects. Compared to the Heavy Camel Rider, the Imperial Camel Rider has +20 hit points, +1 attack, and trains 10% faster. While the upgrade has a substantial cost, it is generally worth it given how well it works with the Hindustani army composition. As the Hindustanis lack the entire Knight line, Camel Riders are a vital part of their armies for a fast, yet resilient unit. They can be used as a shield for weaker units, while still being able to slaughter mounted units. They can easily kill most cavalry in one-on-one combat.

Consejos

  • They are the ultimate counter to heavy cavalry destroying Paladins and Cavaliers.ageofnotes
  • They have very low pierce armor making them highly vulnerable to Arbalests.ageofnotes
  • Halberdiers deal massive bonus damage to them in melee combat.ageofnotes
  • They are faster than standard knights allowing them to force engagements easily.ageofnotes
  • Upgrading them requires a massive amount of food and gold in the late game.ageofnotes
  • The Imperial Camel Rider is the pinnacle of camel units, exclusive to Hindustanis. With 140 HP, 8 Attack, and the same devastating cavalry bonuses as Heavy Camels, Imperial Camels dominate any cavalry engagement. They are cost-effective enough to mass produce and powerful enough to front-line. Still weak to archers and infantry. Classes: Camel.aoecoach
  • You still have 0 armor and the Camel class. Halberdiers and Arbalesters remain deadly threats. The upgrade costs 1000F/500G - make sure it's worth it before committing.aoecoach
