Tácticas

The Guecha Warrior can be seen as a versatile, but expensive, Skirmisher, that sacrifices range and pierce armor for increased hit points and much higher attack against any other unit, while still keeping their role as an anti-archer, with the higher movement speed being key to micromanagement and choosing which fights to take. The ability to heal other Guechas when dying makes a large group of them a durable army in most situations. To offset these advantages, Guecha Warriors have less range than Elite Skirmishers, which means that in the Castle Age, they are not as good at dealing with Crossbowmen, but the higher movement speed can make up for that, and also allows them to dodge Mangonel shots better than other ranged units. Guecha Warriors suffer the same weaknesses as any other ranged unit against Skirmishers, Huskarls, Ghulams, and other anti-archer units, while also being weak to even Bengali melee mounted units due to the additional bonus damage against skirmishers. When massed, Guecha Warriors perform better against other infantry, and can be supported by Temple Guards to counter cavalry. Guecha Warriors are useful when used in a role similar to mounted archers, taking advantage of their speed to hit-and-run slow infantry and raid Villagers, despite their slow Rate of Fire. Unlike cavalry archers, they do not take anti-cavalry bonus damage, and their healing-on-death ability can improve the whole group's survivability.

Consejos

  • Commander, the Guecha Warrior is the sacred javelineer of the Muisca people. These warriors hurl deadly javelins at short range with devastating accuracy against archers and cavalry archers. Their most unique trait: when a Guecha Warrior falls in battle, all nearby Guecha Warriors within 6 tiles regenerate 5 HP over 3 seconds. This means the more they fight and die together, the harder the survivors become to kill. Deploy them in tight formations against archer-heavy compositions.aoecoach
  • 3 range (min range 1) means Guecha Warriors are vulnerable to melee units that close the distance. Knights and Men-at-Arms will shred them in close combat.aoecoach
